Freackels

So everyday I would beg my mom for a dog.  I even did research on the kind of dog I wanted.  After weeks and weeks of begging, my mom finally gives in and says, “You can get a dog”.

“Yay”, I say. Next, we start looking in the newspaper and on the internet for puppies.  We went to about 5 dog pounds and SPCA centers but couldn’t find any dogs that I liked that were available.  One day we saw an add in the newspaper in which someone was selling Dachshund mix puppies in Livermore.  We were going down to Livermore for a soccer tournament any way so we decided to take a look.    We pull up to the house and saw three puppies in a little pen on the front lawn.  They were so cute!  I ran out of the car and started to pet them. The owner said they were half Dachshund and half Lasso Apso.  There was one fat black one and two white and tan ones with blue eyes.   As I was sitting there playing with them, I gave my mom a look; she new exactly what I was going to ask.

“YES”!  She finally blurted out. I could get a puppy.  Now I had to decide which one.  I had the hardest time deciding but I finally chose the white and tan one with the blue eyes.  I had the hardest time going to play my soccer game since I new the new puppy would be waiting for me afterwards.  I missed it all game long.  After my soccer game, I played with the puppy for the rest of the day.  It loved having its tummy rubbed and when it rolled over; I noticed she had a lot of freckles on her tummy.  Guess What?  That’s why I named her Freckles.
